Don't Blink....

I don't know how many of you may be familiar with the Kenny Chesney song "Don't Blink" if you are then you will know what I am referring to.  I feel like I blinked and January was gone and most of February too now that I think about it.  Things around here have been a whirlwind to say the least.  I celebrated my birthday in January and later this week it is our oldest son's turn he will be turning 22 as I said don't blink!  Our middle son is considering the prospects of College a little more seriously since he is now a Junior.  While our youngest once again gets to go to the Pine Wood Derby Championship in March.  I have to say they do a wonderful job of keeping us busy and life very interesting.
Starting one of the four races during the Pack Pine Wood Derby night
I am excited to report I do have a new sampler that is finished and is in the process of being framed.  I will be releasing it within the next few weeks.  The sampler is a little different which is why I liked it and the verse is perfect for the Easter season and so are the colors.
Just a little peak
During the month of March if you live in the Washington, DC metropolitan area there is a wonderful Needlework Exhibit at Woodlawn Plantation this year will be the 50th year of the Exhibit.  Our guild docents one Saturday out of the month.  It is a great opportunity to see the exhibit and have a wonderful lunch before heading down the street to In Stitches.  Which I am very happy to report will have my models on display and charts available during the month of March.

  1. LaDonna were your ears burning today?? I went to Total Framing to have some framing done and Sherrie told me she was going to frame your new piece which she said was wonderful. We are both sooooo excited about the exposure you will receive at In Stitches for the ENTIRE month! That is awesome. Do you want me to go in each day? I could say "I know this designer and she is amazing - just look at this these pieces!" Yes, I think that's a wonderful idea. Way to go girlfriend!!
